Catching Up

You go away for a few weeks and when you get back everything needs to be done immediately! It's a bit daunting. I'm finally getting a handle on things (maybe), so hopefully I'll be a bit chattier. I feel like I've missed out on an awful lot just in the little time I've been gone, and where you guys are concerned, I don't want to miss a thing.

(OOC: If people wouldn't mind dropping me a quick line to explain anything I should know as a Courfeyrac, including where in the world we all are and anything that's been introduced story-wise that I should know, I would appreciate it. Thanks a ton!)

(OOC: Not a problem! *deep breath* Essentially they've gradually met one another while going to college in Somewhere Else. There's no specific location as to where they all are, though I'm willing to think that it's somewhere on the east coast as that's where a lot of players tend to live. More familiar that way. While the world they live on operates in much the same as the one we have now, for instance same presidents and such, feel free to create your own events as well. Eponine and Azelma were brought from France to America via Enjolras. Eponine attends college under false papers while Azelma attends, I think, middle school. Javert made an appearance and is mainly treated as a great big troll to the others. While he mainly set his sights on Enjolras, he's not above going into other people's journals and screwing with them.

Gavroche is a kid who was found by Enjolras and Grantaire. He used to be in a foster home and now he's adopted by Yuri.

Oh, what can be said about Yuri? He's basically Javert's former lover. He's also Russian. He was created, at first, to troll the troll as it were. The whole Russian thing regarding Javert and Yuri came from really bad fanfic. Yuri treated Les Amis very well and adopted Gavroche to give him a better home. It's been revealed to Enjolras that Yuri is actually Jean Valjean, who's faking the accent.

For Courfeyrac, he attends a few classes with Enjolras, has flirted with many, and enjoyed trolling Javert back. As far as family goes, feel free to make up whatever you'd like for him. It could be your own headcanon or something wildly different. As far as plotlines go, he's aware of a good deal that's happened throughout, but hasn't been directly involved in any just yet.

Additional OOC info:

Eponine, Azelma, Enjolras, Combeferre, Jehan, and Grantaire all live in the same apartment building that's owned by Grantaire's grandfather and managed by Grantaire. It's located very close to the university that most of them attend and tends to house mostly students.
